Hi, I’m Lori! I’m a Gen Xer, a lifelong dog lover, and a mom to three pretty special girls—Bindi, Lily, and Coco.
If you’ve ever shared your life with dogs, you know they have a way of becoming so much more than pets. They become family, little shadows who follow you from room to room, make you laugh when you need it most, and somehow manage to fill your heart in ways you never expected.
For years, we shared our lives with our beloved Cockapoos through Coffee and Cockapoos. When we lost our sweet Buddy, who was nearly 16, I knew that chapter of our story had come to an end. But our home is still filled with three wonderful girls who have plenty of their own stories to tell.
And that’s how Girls Paws came to be.
This blog is all about Bindi, Lily, and Coco—their personalities, adventures, funny little quirks, growing-up moments, and the everyday life that happens when three very different female dogs share a home.
There will be stories about walks, playtime, training, grooming, new experiences, and probably a little mischief along the way. Most of all, there will be love.
MEET THE GIRLS
🐾 Bindi — Our Mini Bernedoodle
December 2022, we added another poodle mix to our family. After looking at many options, I fell in love with an adorable Mini Bernedoodle I saw online. We adopted her and named her Bindi.
Mini Bernedoodles are a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Miniature Poodle. Here are images of Bind's parents.
Bindi quickly became a wonderful companion for us and our other dogs. She has a great herding instinct and enjoys keeping everyone together.
🐾 Lily — Our Yorkiepoo
Lily's parent's are a Yorkshire Terrier and a Toy Poodle. Lily may be small, but she certainly doesn't lack personality! She is our feisty little girl, curious and confident, with a mind of her own. She loves being part of whatever is happening and has a way of making sure she isn't overlooked.
🐾 Coco — Our Miniature Poodle
Coco is our youngest girl and brings plenty of playful puppy energy into the house. She loves to explore, play, and keep us entertained - mostly by fetching. Coco is a hunter and a chewer. Like any young pup, she can also get into a little mischief from time to time!
❤️ Three Girls, Three Personalities
Bindi, Lily, and Coco are all different, and that's what makes our little pack so special. Bindi is our playful herder, Lily is our feisty little personality, and Coco is our energetic youngster.
Together, they fill our days with laughter, companionship, and plenty of four-pawed adventures.
