The girls had a pretty entertaining adventure at the dog park. Bindi, Lily, and Coco were enjoying the small-dog area when a beautiful Golden Retriever came into view in the large-dog park on the other side of the fence.
This was their first time being so close to a dog that was that big, and they were completely fascinated by him. It didn't take long for them to discover that when he ran along the fence, they could run right along with him on their side.
And so began their newest game.
Back and forth they went, the little dogs racing alongside this big Golden Retriever as though they had known him forever. They seemed absolutely enthralled by him and couldn't take their eyes off what he was doing. Every time he moved, they were ready to follow.
I loved watching their curiosity unfold. There was no fear—just that wonderful doggy fascination with something new and different. To them, this big Golden wasn't simply another dog at the park. He was an exciting new discovery and, for a little while, their very own running partner.
The girls may have been in the small-dog park, but they certainly didn't let that stop them from having a little fun with the big dogs!
It was one of those silly, happy moments that makes a trip to the dog park so much fun—and gives us another little story to add to the adventures of Bindi, Lily, and Coco.
